Current Research.
My work focuses on 19th- and 20th-century critiques of Enlightenment modernity and subjectivity I am currently finishing a book on GWF Hegel’s critique of political modernity, which reconstructs Hegel as anticipatung central themes in Theodor W. Adorno’s early critical theory, specifically on the themes of sacrifice and instrumental rationality. I am also writing a short book on Kierkegaard, which is under contract with Cambridge University Press and will
appear in the Cambrige Element series the Philosophy of Kierkegaard.
