I am a scholar of 19 th – and 20 th -century European philosophy. My main interests lie within the
philosophy of existence, social and political philosophy, and the philosophy of religion, and I
work on thinkers such as GWF Hegel, Søren Kierkegaard, Simone de Beauvoir, Theodor W.
Adorno, and Hannah Arendt. I also have an interest in feminist philosophy (especially Marxist
social reproduction theory) and aesthetics (especially modern uptakes of ancient Greek tragedy).
I currently work as a postdoc research fellow in the Department of Philosophy at the University
of Southampton in the UK, and I will soon take up a position as teaching associate professor at
the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
